It all started with three elementary school teachers, sitting in the break room, daydreaming about volunteering abroad with elephants in Thailand. At the time, it felt like a pipe dream. But the following summer, we went.
It was life-changing!
Sometimes, we forget how big the world really is. Caught up in the daily hustle, it’s easy to lose sight of what’s beyond our routines. But when you step into a completely different culture, everything shifts. Travel changes you—forever.
What we didn’t expect was how much it would impact our students. They were captivated—asking questions, researching, sharing stories, and even telling their parents. Their excitement was contagious! That’s when we thought: What if every teacher had this opportunity?
